About Us
Whatever your standard, whether you want to play team tennis, play socially or take advantage of our coaching opportunities, Brentwood Hard Court Tennis & Padel Club has something for everyone.

We offer a full range of group or individual coaching sessions for adults and juniors, by LTA or PTR qualified coaches.
​
There are also a number of weekly social tennis groups.
​
Our teams are represented in Brentwood and Essex leagues and we continue to seek competitive players interested in match play.

Families and all full members are invited to the regular social play sessions, and Team captains arrange their own practise sessions.
The bar opens for organised events and the clubhouse hall is available for hire at competitive rates, with discounts for members.

Brentwood Hard Court Tennis & Padel Club, in partnership with Padel 123 built the first Padel tennis court in the Brentwood area.
​
The outdoor court has glass panoramic back walls and is floodlit.
​
Padel evolved in Mexico and is enjoying rapid growth in the UK and worldwide.
It is played on an enclosed court about a third of the size of a tennis court.
The rules are the same as tennis, although serving is underarm and, like Squash, the walls are used as part of the game.

A Rainy Success: Recap of Our Tennis Club's Open Day
(Date: 6th May 2024)
Despite the challenging weather, our recent Open Day at the tennis club was a tremendous success, thanks to the dedication and enthusiasm of our members and community. On 6th May 2024, we welcomed both members and non-members to our club, offering a day filled with tennis, delicious food, exciting activities, and a fantastic raffle.

We have updated our website with details of the LTA website SAFE TO PLAY safeguarding campaign.

We strive to ensure that all children, young people and adults at risk are safeguarded from abuse and have an enjoyable tennis experience.
Everyone who is involved in tennis has a shared responsibility to support this by promoting the welfare of all children, young people and adults at risk.
Les Mellor Brentwood Tennis Club has been awarded the LTA Regional Life Time Achievement Award
A huge congratulations to Les Mellor for this amazing achievement. Les has been involved in tennis for well over 30 years and continues to serve not only our club but the whole tennis community in general. Thank you Les for your contribution to a game we all love.

Up and Coming Events
Join Us at the Strawberry Festival
Date: 24th May 2024
The BHCTC Coaching Team will be at Strawberry Festival on the 9th June 2024 representing BHCTC, why not visit our stall and have a hit with us on a mini tennis court or enjoy all the other sports that will be out on display.
The festival will be a day packed full of entertainment for everyone so mark your calendars and we'll see you there!
